Congratulations to the Great White North, for making it very far in the playoffs.

For years, I doubted your ability to succeed in the post-season. After years of losing to lower tier teams in the 1st round of the playoffs, you managed to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals. Even stealing 2 games from the eventual Champs, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Expectations will be extremely high for you guys in this 2016/17 season. I for one do not think they will make it back to the ECF due to having a lackluster bench. My question to you however is, Did you get better as a team in the offseason? Let’s take a look at their current roster and break down some things, shall we?

Now this prediction was hard because outside of the 1st 8 guys, the Raptors have alormt of unknowns. Fred VanVleet looks promising in the action that I saw him in and should be a great compliment to Kyle Lowry. I doubt that the Raptors will return to the Eastern Conference Finals due to the unknowns off of the bench. A perennial 3rd option is keeping the Raptors back as well. Terrence Ross must average 17pts a game off of the bench in order for this team to continue winning. (Terrence Ross should be the Eastern Conference’s answer to Jamal Crawford). With Pascal Siakam rim protecting abilities, he should easily fill the Bismack Biyombo void. I look forward to the Raptors proving me wrong but like I said I doubt it. As of right now they also have Jason Thompson, Bruno Caboclo,  Brady Heslip, Yanick Moreira, Jarrod Uthoff, & Delon Wright all fighting to make the team. See all that uncertainty worries me. Good luck Toronto, you will need it.😃
